I offer private counseling to clients on a weekly basis.  In general, therapy is most effective and goals are met most quickly when we meet regularly.  When we are nearing the end of counseling, or if vacations or insurance requirements require less frequent sessions, bi-weekly appointments may be appropriate.  Payment is due for each session at the time services are rendered;  I accept cash, check, and credit cards (via PayPal).  

 

Currently I am a provider in several insurance networks – please contact me to learn the most current information on this topic.  If I am not a provider in your insurance network, you may still contact your insurance company to inquire about an individual approval or reimbursement for your session payments.  Please call your insurance company to verify your benefits prior to our first session.  You may find the following questions helpful in making such a call:

 

  

1. What are my mental health benefits?

2. If the counselor I wish to see is not in-network, what are my benefits for an out-of-network provider?

3. What would be my co-pay?

4. Do I have a deductible, and if so, what is it?

5. What type of licenses or therapy modalities are accepted?

6. Is pre-authorization required before I see a counselor?

7. Are specific diagnoses required to qualify for reimbursement?

8. How many visits am I allowed per calendar year?
